Dear NIGP Utah Chapter Members,
This has been an exciting year! Between hosting our first-ever Reverse Trade-Show, to updating our website platform, to being recognized for our chapter growth in our membership at NIGP National Forum, and so many other important endeavors in between, it’s been great! As with virtually all professional associations, these accomplishments can only be completed by those willing to volunteer their time and efforts to make it all happen. For those behind the scenes, helping this organization run smoothly, thank you! And my deepest regards to the chapter board who supported me, as the president, and the chapter in their countless hours of service.
We are happy to announce, beginning with the November 12, 2019, chapter meeting, a partnership with the Utah Division of Purchasing and the NIGP Utah Chapter. You may have seen this announced from various sources including Solomon Kingston through PEP. More detailed information will be forthcoming in the November 12th meeting. The purpose of the partnership will be to collaborate in presenting the Division’s Procurement Education Partnership (PEP) Seminars and NIGP’s Utah Chapter meetings. Resources will be pooled to offer more timely and informative training throughout the State of Utah. Specifics concerning membership and membership costs will also be addressed. We are excited to work with the Utah Division of Purchasing and look forward to a mutually beneficial relationship.
Some housekeeping items:
