The Utah Chapter of the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP) is a non-profit corporation dedicated to the advancement of the purchasing profession through education and cooperative relationships among it members. Our membership includes purchasing processionals from federal, state, county, city, public school districts, colleges, universities and other political subdivisions.
Membership is open to all public procurement professionals in the State of Utah. Chapter membership is separate from the national association and dues are paid on a prorated basis due in September of each year. Membership applications may be obtained from our website and mailed to PO Box 571962, Murray, Utah 84157.

We will meet September 22, November, January 19, March 16 and May 18. Our meeting format is that of mini-seminars from 9 a.m. to Noon generally on the third Tuesday of the above months. We conduct business, have guest speakers on various timely topics and network. Light refreshments are served. Occasionally, we join with other procurement organizations for additional training opportunities and events of common interest.
